Tariffs create uncertainty

Businesses are facing increased difficulties in managing their costs due to tariff wars ignited by US President Donald Trump’s trade tariffs says Blick Rothenberg.

Susan Vincent transfer pricing partner at Blick Rothenberg said: ‘Transfer pricing is being impacted by the current geopolitical environment. Tariff wars triggered by Donald Trump’s trade tariffs are driving rapid increases in costs requiring businesses to review and adjust their supply chain and transfer pricing strategy.’

On the higher tariffs on steel that the US has begun enforcing the government should secure tariff exceptions now urges Liam Byrne chair of the parliamentary Business and Trade Committee.
