I was standing by the coffee machine — having a well-earned break I should add — when the business development guys happened by.

'Ah Curtis' they said 'it's good that we bumped into you; we've been asked to write something on “tax in House”; you're the very man we need you know the sort of thing so we'll leave it entirely up to you'.

That was lucky I happened to be standing there I thought this is my big chance. All those years writing about tax haven't been wasted now I've got the opportunity to write for Hugh Laurie who plays the title role in the TV series House.

They're obviously running out of medical story lines and need to branch out. Doctors have tax problems too and Gregory House MD would need some professional advice.

OK so he probably wouldn't...
