The satisfaction of seeing a job through from start to finish is great. Immersing yourself in something whether it is baking a cake building a wall or making your own wedding dress (as I did and I was still making the final stitches on the morning that I got married) can bring an inordinate sense of fulfillment.
It is not always as rewarding to do just part of a job. Where for example would be the joy in just sewing on the sleeve of the dress?
Or putting in a couple of bricks in the wall?
