Taxation platforms have come a long way since 2012. Tax officers were at the forefront of operations accepting payments over counters at the tax office and manually inputting data into a system. Since then the world has sped up. Customers expect everything to be faster. Paper is becoming an outdated commodity and the capabilities of technology have dramatically progressed delivering faster more efficient and more reliable approaches to taxation processing.

Evolution of the digital tax platform

Initially the digitalisation of tax platforms meant a single-window registration. A much sought-after feature that enabled a new business owner or trader to provide all required information and to register themselves for tax purposes within a single screen for all relevant government departments.
