After discussions with HMRC about what tax advisers want and need from HMRC’s online services, the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Association of Taxation Technicians have launched a survey to help them and HMRC to find out which services are most important to advisers. This should enable HMRC to prioritise what it delivers to agents, within its funding constraints.
The survey covers: appointing an agent digitally; digital services for agents; and using client credentials.
The survey is open to all tax advisers and should take no more than ten minutes to complete. It will run until 5pm on Friday 13 March.
