Revenue Scotland has launched an enhanced support service for individuals who may need extra assistance when interacting with the department. This service provides for additional support for taxpayers on matters such as: completing forms, needing extra time to file, communication difficulties – for example because English is not the taxpayer’s first language, difficulties paying tax, or needing someone else to speak on their behalf. This service covers the devolved taxes administered by Revenue Scotland ie land and building transactions tax and Scottish landfill tax.
