LITRG – past, present and future

The Low Incomes Tax Reform Group (LITRG) of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) marked its 25th anniversary in 2023. And what a year it was with our dedicated team working extremely hard to deliver an upgraded website rewriting and improving much of the 400-plus pages of guidance material aimed at helping unrepresented taxpayers.

After such a monumental effort the icing on the cake was receiving the Outstanding Contribution to Taxation in 2023-24 by a Not-for-profit Organisation award!

So what have LITRG been doing over the last year to deserve such an accolade and how will we continue to help deliver CIOT’s objectives as an educational charity? Below we share just a small sample of our history work and plans for the future.
