Changes to Corporation Tax forms from 19 September 2016.
Corporation tax forms have changed as part of HMRC’s digital agenda.
It no longer issue the acknowledgement of a company tax return letter (CT620 ACK). Instead the government gateway email that confirms filing has been amended to prompt taxpayers to check CT online to view liabilities and payments.
Agents will also be able to view this information by entering their agent authorisation details.
The important dates letter (CT610/CT610A) will no longer be issued. Businesses should use CT online to obtain the information.
Other guidance notes, inserts and non-statutory forms are now available online only. Some will continue to be sent to unrepresented companies; these include the return and payment reminder letters (CT205 and CT208 (PR2)).
