Rather than an accountant or economist the eccentrically accoutred (broadly checked bright blue suit and wing collar with standard tie) Dominic Frisby is a voiceover specialist whose silky tones will be familiar to TV addicts. Even so he has carried out some serious research before presenting this sometimes funny but often chilling overview of the British tax system.

After a tax medley including songs by The Beatles and The Kinks his perspective looks at history politics HMRC’s role and failures and where the money goes.
