New research into employee's attitude towards auto-enrolment.
More than nine employees in ten (92.27%) agreed that auto-enrolment is a good idea.
This was the finding of research by Hargreaves Lansdown to explore how employees’ attitudes to pensions have changed since auto-enrolment was introduced three years ago.
The survey of 658 workplace pension members found there has also been an improvement in understanding with 70% of respondents saying it is better now and 83.9% knowing how much they are contributing towards their retirement income every month.
However more than half (52.45%) of members do not know where their pension is invested and nearly 60% were unaware of the options available to them at retirement.
