Payerti.org is independent of taxman
The UK accountancy sector has launched a new online service to provide lay coverage of real-time information (RTI) for PAYE.
Payerti.org is a non-profit collaboration supported by professional and trade bodies including the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the ICAS, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the Federation of Small Businesses, and the British Chambers of Commerce.
The site is independent of HMRC. It aims to increase awareness of RTI among employers, particularly SMEs, and recommends they speak to their accountant or payroll service provider.
The new offering includes a countdown timetable to 6 April 2013, when the vast majority of smaller employers will be obliged to operate RTI.
