We need at least 13 words to describe types of taxpayer behaviour, says JOHN BARNETT

It is said that the Eskimos (or at least the Sami tribes) have hundreds of words for the quality of snow.

Given the current media focus on (and in some cases misreporting of) tax planning arrangements I would like to suggest that we need more words to describe the range of behaviours which taxpayers get up to.

This article contains a tentative list of some of those terms and how they might be defined.
