'HMRC expects the vast majority of employers to access forms online'

Taxation has heard that employers can in future only obtain one copy of PAYE tables etc. and that the same rule was to be applied to PAYE trainers. We took this matter up with HMRC and received the following reply.

‘HMRC in step with the government’s move to deliver more and more of its business online is committed to encouraging employers and their agents to access information tools forms and guidance electronically and via the internet.

‘The Employer Orderline now has very limited stocks of paper forms and guidance which are intended primarily for those employers who are exempt from transacting with HMRC online and have no access to the internet. HMRC expects the vast majority of employers to access most forms and guidance online.

‘Similarly HMRC would like training companies providing courses for employers to access HMRC’s material online and...
