HMRC can be informed electronically

Employers and agents can now inform HMRC electonically that they do not need to submit an employer annual return (P35 and P14s).

Businesses can still tell the Revenue in writing or by telephone, but if they use the new facility they will receive an acknowledgement email immediately, advising that the declaration has been received.

A second email will be sent to confirm that the declaration has been processed.

See here for more information.
