The results of the Institute of Indirect Taxation’s associate examinations have been announced.
The structure of the exams changed to modular format in February 2008, and the new format has reached the end of its first 12-month cycle.
The institute says it ‘is delighted to see that clearly students are benefiting from the change as overall they have been achieving higher marks in each individual paper: a strong indicator that the introduction of modularisation was the correct way to go’.
A total of 34 candidates passed, and awards went to Haider Hatteea of HMRC, Peter Tansey-Dwyer of Mazars, Angela Hepworth of HMRC, and Sharon Lowe of Computer Associates UK Ltd.
