HMRC failures experienced over the past year

I have just read Allison Plager’s article Online filing: the aftermath and felt that I had to contact you to say that for many of us small tax practitioners this year’s online experience has been the worst ever.

I have used online filing for six years now and up to 2006-07 I would probably have given HMRC a mark of 8/10.

However my experiences this year (2007-08) suggest that a mark of no more than zero is appropriate.

Let me firstly confirm that with the use of Drummohr software everything has been done absolutely correctly at this end and all the problems that I have referred to HMRC they have eventually admitted all as being their fault.
