Nearly every claim overlooked until district is prompted
Our experience of loss carry back claims for corporation tax where returns are filed electronically is that nearly every claim is overlooked until the district is prompted by telephone or fax.
The reason given by Croydon Area is that they have just taken over CT processing for Kent, Northampton and another area and are swamped with work to such an extent that nobody is checking electronically filed returns for such claims.
