Downloads cover VAT changes and foreign profits

The Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) has added two new podcasts to its website, both featuring recently appointed tax policy director John Whiting OBE in conversation with tax experts from within the organisation.

In the first download, he discusses foreign profits with Adrian Rudd, chairman of the body’s corporate tax sub-committee.

In the second recording, the subject is the possible changes relating to VAT in the upcoming Budget, and John’s guest is Mike Arnold, chairman of the institute’s VAT and indirect taxes sub-committee.

Listening to the podcasts both count towards unstructured CPD for CIOT members: the former provides 13 minutes, and the latter 11 minutes.
