I note in your article A tax year in Provence you have listed ‘Australia/Tasmania’ in a box titled ‘Specified Relationships’.
While I am sure the residents of the state of Tasmania would be delighted that they have received a mention in the magazine after so many instances of being left off the map of Australia, they are no more separate to Australia than Cornwall is separate to the UK.
Although an island, Tasmania is one of the six states of the Commonwealth of Australia.
