I think there's a scene in a film where a beautiful woman reaches over the restaurant dining table grabs hold of the man's tie and pulls him towards her in a passionate kiss. Then again that might be just one of my fantasies.

But the point is where would the guy have been without the tie? Well probably not at the cleaners the next morning asking if there was any way that spaghetti sauce could ever be removed from his silk tie and the front of his very expensive suit; but the course of true love never runs smooth (or cheaply now that I think of it). Anyway back to the subject why the tie?

Perhaps you should take a quick glance around your fellow workers. How many of the men are wearing a tie? And does the tie say anything about them or...
