Nick Goulding, the new president of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, discusses his aspirations for the year with ALLISON PLAGER

Is there ever a quiet year for the president of The Chartered Institute of Taxation?

It seems that on his first day the new president has to hit the deck running with meetings the AGM the CTA address and a grand reception.
Nick Goulding is the new president of the CIOT having followed the usual route of vice president and then deputy president.

He is 'looking forward to the year' and says that there is a lot going on for example the new CTA exam and all the new legislation that is being introduced.

Nick also mentions that the institute is 'certainly going to have to move premises because the lease on the current offices is running out'.
