Now there does seem to be a school of thought that says that London is the place to be and I do hear this with regard to tax as well as other things.
For example in the music business I've often heard it said that for any up and coming young band London is the only place to be seen to be heard get noticed and get that contract.
Everything happens so much faster there. But is that really true?
Looking at the beat of music the answer is 'not necessarily'. I was only reading the other day that 'the rhythm of life is quicker up north'.
Apparently while clubbers in London enjoy dancing at a relatively relaxed 90 beats per minute in Hull for example satisfaction on the dance floor is only achieved at 160bpm.
Tax it...
