Look I wouldn't want to give the impression that some people are automatically more or less interesting or important than anyone else.

You may prefer to discuss tax and wasting assets rather than u-bends and waste systems; but next time your bathroom's overflowing be grateful that some people do.

We all have our part to play and perhaps despite our fantasies we can't all be 'at the top of the game' nor have the most interesting careers. I mean my ambition was always to be an eccentric millionaire.

Some will tell you that I'm halfway there which now I think of it could be further than a lot of people get with their ambitions.

Obviously I'm a 'glass half full' kind of guy rather than 'half empty'.

But to get to the point Christmas and new year are traditionally a time of looking back to...
