Just when you thought things could not get any worse England fails to qualify for the European Cup losing two-three to Croatia. Another high-profile resignation quickly follows. Do I care?

Well not a lot to be honest as I will not have to put up with hours of mindless football on the television next summer while everyone groans as England does not even get to the quarter finals.

It is almost a sweet release for England football fans — at least the heartache has ended now. If only the loss of the disks had...
