SDLT reaches out

HMRC have formed a stamp taxes' outreach team, following a series of visits to legal firms and practitioner groups. The team aims to provide practitioners with practical information about how to file returns online, but events can be tailored to cover other practical stamp duty land tax issues. The team will be making presentations for solicitors and conveyancing professionals throughout the year, either in partnership with other organisations, e.g. the Law Society or HM Land Registry, or on request. Each presentation lasts between 45 to 60 minutes. For further information, see the HMRC website.
