HMRC will not appeal the First-tier Tribunal decisions on contracted out and subsidised research and development expenditure in Collins Construction Ltd (TC9358) and Stage One Creative Services (TC9332).
The tax authority confirmed to the Chartered Institute of Taxation that it is considering the wider impacts these decisions have on such claims and will publish further guidance in February.
