MIKE TRUMAN explains how you can put forward the best CPD lecturer you heard last year for a Taxation Award.

THE TAXATION AWARDS are a highlight of the tax calendar the only awards purely for the tax profession. Last year we instituted a new award for the best tax lecturer which will be awarded again this year. We want again to involve those in the profession in the decision-making process although the format has changed this year to allow the lecturers in contention for the award to submit evidence and for the awards judges also to have their say. However the views of Taxation readers and attendees at LexisNexis conferences and seminars will be the starting point for finding the next tax lecturer of the year.
