My client intends to start a surveying practice. His proposal is that he will arrange premises, secretarial staff, meeting rooms, library, insurance cover, computers and IT support, etc. The offices will be let to individual surveyors and related professions — e.g. structural engineers, architects, etc., who will pay a monthly charge for the office and facilities — the view being that they will use each others' services (in priority to any 'outside' experts) as required by particular aspects of their own jobs.
