WE OFTEN GET correspondence in from readers which is very welcome. Sometimes when we cover a controversial subject we get quite a lot of correspondence (the debate over UITF 40 was a good example of this).
However the Budget announcement of the proposal to bring forward the final deadline for filing tax returns to
30 November from 2008 onwards has had the unusual effect of generating significant correspondence even before we have covered the subject in any great detail. Some of it is reproduced in this week's 'Feedback' section.
