Key Haven Publications plc is running the following three events in May and June.

An afternoon seminar, The Family Home, will take place on 2 May at the Mayfair Conference Centre, 17 Connaught Place, WC2. Robert Venables QC will chair the event, and also speak on inheritance tax. James Kessler will discuss homes owned by companies, James Henderson will cover capital gains tax aspects of the family home, and Richard Vallat will look at stamp duty.

Another afternoon seminar, Tax Planning for Shareholders, is planned for 10 May at the Mayfair Conference Centre. This will be chaired by Andrew Thornhill QC who will also offer some tax planning ideas. Robert Venables QC will speak on re-organisations and reconstructions, Kevin Prosser QC will cover taper relief, and Richard Bramwell QC will consider tax avoidance.

Finally, on 13 June, an all day conference entitled Defensive Trusteeship will take place at the Cavendish Conference Centre, W1. The speakers will be Robert Argles, Michael Hayes, Professor David Hayton, James Kessler, Paul Matthews, and Shân Warnock-Smith. The conference will cover how trustees can safely carry out their discretionary distributive and investment functions.
