The speakers at the conference (held in February and thereafter before the latest Budget) were Michael Stanford-Tuck partner in Taylor Joynson Garrett who spoke on business and agricultural property relief; Emma Chamberlain barrister of 8 Gray's Inn Square who spoke on taper relief: the new rules explained; Catriona Syed of Charles Russell who spoke on inheritance tax planning regarding the family home and chattels; Clive Cutbill a partner in Withers who covered trusts and tax in the new millennium; Matthew Hutton MA FTII AIIT TEP who spoke on post-death rearrangements; Nicholas Terras associate with Allen and Overy who discussed residence and domicile planning; and Charles Pascoe tax director at BDO Stoy Hayward who covered selling the family business in a tax efficient way.
