Update with fixes and improvements
HMRC have issued an update of the February 2012 version of their basic PAYE tools software. The latest version provides a few small fixes and the following improvements:
- HMRC have resolved the P60 certificate of pay and tax printing issues with Adobe.
- There is a direct link from the ‘employee details’ tab to change employees’ tax codes.
- An interactive check list will help employers gather all the information required to complete their employer annual returns.
- A minor correction to the end of year check for Class 1 National Insurance contributions.
New users can download the software. For existing users, if the July 2011 update (version 3.1.2.15508) has not yet been downloaded, this must be done before downloading the March 2012 update.
