Conversations with the Taxation tax hound

Rufus was very concerned to hear about the loss of HMRC's computer disks. He has always been rather jealous when he watches the news and sees spaniels sniffing for drugs at airports and alsatians apprehending violent criminals.

He's always wanted to perform some useful function himself other than ridding the world of cats squirrels and rabbits: 'vermin!'

This is his big chance!

Rufus is volunteering his services to sniff out missing computer disks — once he works out what a computer disk smells like.

Presumably something not unlike a laptop computer and Rufus says that if HMRC would like a hand (or a nose) in finding the one with the ISA information that disappeared from an employee's car in October he would be happy to give a quote.

He could probably offer a discount if HMRC would like him to sniff around for the 40 other missing laptops...
