First Companies Act forum launches

Tax professionals affected by the recently implemented Companies Act 2006 can now share their opinions and concerns with peers following the launch of the first online community centred on the law as it applies to businesses.

CompanyLawForum.co.uk is a free service that allows registered users to ask questions offer advice post blogs and network with people in the worlds of accountancy law finance academia and regulation.

The site is run by media giant LexisNexis owner of Taxation magazine. Charles Barber a senior marketing executive within the group said: 'Over the past 12 months we have been listening to our customers' worries about the effects of the Companies Act on their businesses.
