A quick word from our resident Vancouverite...
Canada's prime minister, Stephen Harper, is taking steps to speed up the introduction of fiscal aid already promised: $3 billion in tax cuts and resource-funding has been approved for June.
Mr Harper is arguing, however, that the need is now, and that April would be a more appropriate time to start padding the ailing economy.
Apparently, he’s is prepared to go to the polls if he doesn’t get what he wants.
Has the Canadian PM become a screaming toddler who throws a tantrum if he doesn’t have his way?
