Taxation is delighted to announce the shortlist for the 2020 Taxation Awards. We will be unable to hold the annual award ceremony because of the coronavirus crisis.
However, we would like to acknowledge the hard work that was put in by everybody who entered this year, particularly because we had by far the greatest number of submissions than we ever had.
We will therefore be hosting a video event on 14 May – the date when the ceremony would have been held – at which we will be announcing the winners. Full details of this will be published shortly. In the meantime, congratulations to everybody who has been shortlisted and commiserations to all those who did not make it. With so many entrants, the judges had to make some very tough decisions and many fine entries just failed to make the cut.
The winners of the awards for best in-house leader, outstanding contribution to tax in 2019-20, and lifetime achievement will be announced at the online event.
