Draft legislation, VAT (Refund of Tax to Museums and Galleries) (Amendment) Order 2020, has been published updating the list of museums and galleries in SI 2001/2879 entitled to reclaim VAT under the refund scheme in VATA 1994, s 33A.
HMRC is inviting views on the draft order. This consultation gives an opportunity for the museums and galleries affected to check that the proposed changes and additions are correct. This is not an opportunity for bodies that are not on the list to be added.
