After the fiscal turmoil of the last couple of weeks it is a pleasure to be able to change focus. This week’s articles are all from firms or individuals who were winners at the 2022 Taxation Awards.
We always invite winners to contribute to the magazine and to share their insights across a range of tax issues. I hope that you find them interesting – there will be more winners’ articles to come over the next few months.
Believe it or not, it is already time to start thinking about the 2023 awards. The categories remain broadly similar although we have made a few slight adjustments here and there.
The main difference is that after many years at the London Hilton on Park Lane, we are moving to a new venue – the Royal Lancaster Hotel in Hyde Park. Put a reminder in your diaries now for Thursday 18 May 2023.
We are now open for entries but we anticipate that people will leave it to the last minute before putting in their submissions – why break the habits of a lifetime! But seriously, it is worth putting some time into your calendars now to start planning whether you are going to enter and which categories you will go for.
We are always happy to offer some guidance on how best to prepare your submission – just contact us at the link on the awards page of our website – www.taxationawards.co.uk.
It was great to see many friends and colleagues last May after two years of virtual events. Let’s keep that momentum going at our new venue.
