Chair sought for GAAR advisory panel

The commissioners of HMRC invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to take on the role of chair of the advisory panel that is a key element of HMRC’s operation of the general anti-abuse rule. The role entails a commitment of about 24 hours a year and will be for a term of three years. The position also offers a small salary. A detailed role description and person specification as well as a link to the application are available on GOV.UK. The deadline for applications is 16 September 2024.
