ADIT

The Chartered Institute of Taxation announced that 624 candidates passed at least one advanced diploma in the international taxation (ADIT) exam in June 2019. More than 200 students have completed the diploma in the past 12 months including the first ADIT graduates in Cameroon Georgia Rwanda and Ukraine.

VAT

Notice 700: The VAT guide has been amended to reflect the new rules from 1 September 2019 for the issue of credit and debit notes following adjustments to the price of supplies (see sections 18.2.1 to 18.2.8).

Carbon emissions tax
