High net worths say the UK does not support wealth creation

More than half of high net worths (HNWs) (55%) feel that the UK is not supportive of wealth creation or creators according to a survey conducted by Wealth Club.

Some 42% of respondents considered that the UK is not an attractive place to set up a business and 31% said that they felt more inclined to leave the UK for financial reasons compared to 12 months ago.

On the state of the UK economy 81% said it was in worse shape than it was five years ago with only 12% saying it was better.

Regardless of the outcome of the election 83% of those surveyed expected their personal tax burden to be higher in the next 12 months. Whereas 17% expected it to be less or about the same. Nearly a quarter said that they feel poorer than they did 12 months ago whereas 27%...
