Coding notifications are on their way to employers

HMRC has begun issuing P9 notice of coding email notifications and expects to complete the process by 22 March. These state that the codes for the tax  year starting 6 April 2019 can be viewed online. 

Paper P9 notices will be posted from the end of this month. If an employer does not receive these in time for the first pay period after 6 April 2019, they can request a duplicate from the employer helpline on 0300 200 3200.

However, a request can be made only for a full employer scheme and is not available for individual tax codes
