New writers welcome

As readers will know October 2017 marked the 90th anniversary of the launch of Taxation. Our founder Ronald Staples said in the first edition: ‘We shall publish articles and notes written only by specialists of the highest repute on all branches of the subject from the most intricate problems of law and practice down to the simplest claims and computations illustrated where possible by practical examples.’ I have no doubt that our authors continue to meet the demanding test of being ‘specialists of the highest repute’ and I am sure that you would want to join me in thanking all of them and their many predecessors for making the magazine what it is today.
