On HMRC’s programme of Talking Points events for agents I find it incredible that the department is spending money on webinars telling agents how to file returns and pay tax by
31 January. What have I been doing since 1997 without guidance from HMRC? It beggars belief that they need to give guidance on income from property and capital allowances on vehicles when I am down to my last 40 returns. I find it inappropriate and patronising. Does anybody else feel the same?
