VAT accounting
An online form is available to join the VAT annual accounting scheme. The paper version is still available.
Registration
HMRC has updated Notice 700/1: should I be registered for VAT?. It cancels and replaces the September 2016 version. Details of changes can be found in paragraph 1.2. The Revenue has also updated Notice 701/58: charity advertising and goods connected with collecting donations to replace the March 2002 version.
Pensions
Draft legislation to change the Registered Pension Schemes (Provision of Information) Regulations 2006 has been published here. Comments should be emailed by 5 December 2016.
