The government confirms commitment to OECD recommendations.
The government has confirmed that it is committed to implementing the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) recommendations on country-by-country reporting. Amendments to the regulations to include partnerships will be published in the autumn.
The regulations will be applicable to periods beginning on or after 1 January 2016, in line with the OECD recommendations and previous government commitments.
The OECD guidance on country-by-country reporting published in June 2016 makes clear that partnerships are within its scope as reporting entities. For more information, see here.
