Agent update: issue 53.
The April/May edition of Agent Update has been published. A couple of items are summarised below.
Form P800
The P800 form has been redesigned as a result of a suggestion that there should be a space on the form to break down pension figures. Previously the calculation consolidated all pension income into one sum making it difficult to check when there was more than one pension.
Completing forms online
Two areas of online forms are causing problems:
- structured emails: web pages that have to be completed in one go with no ability to save when part completed; and
- intelligent pdfs: it is not possible to save part completed forms.
These issues are being looked at by the Working Together team to consider possible solutions.
