This year’s ICAEW Tax Faculty essay competition sponsored by the Taxation Awards 2016 offers students and young professionals the chance to explain how they would fix an aspect of the tax system.
The winner will receive a cash prize, a set of Tolley Yellow and Orange Handbooks and a complete set of Tolley annuals.
Entries should be between 1,500 to 3,000 words on one of the key issues that the Tax Faculty has identified as facing those running the UK tax system. The list of titles and the rules can be found on the ICAEW website at tinyurl.com/tec2016.
The competition is open to anyone aged under 30. The deadline is midday on 21 March 2016.
