In the update HMRC are calling for more volunteers to take part in testing the agent online self-serve (AOSS) pre-release service.
The facility provides a monthly breakdown of employers’ PAYE liabilities and how the payments received have been allocated. Advisers who would like to be involved have until 11 December to apply.

One new open issue has been added since Agent Update 49. It concerns delays in issuing repayments – HMRC are working with the professional bodies to establish the “precise nature of the problem”.
One issue has been closed – high income child benefit charge letters. The professional bodies agreed to close this issue because HMRC accepted their suggestions to change the wording on the enabling letters.
