HMRC intend to introduce a new digital channel for the submission of the registered pension scheme relief at source annual information return RPSCOM100(Z) in 2017. Initially the new digital channel will run alongside the existing methods of submission. However from 2019 it will be the only way to submit this information (HMRC Pension Schemes Newsletter 72).

HMRC have begun this month to issue pension scheme return (PSR) reminders payment reminders and penalty reminders to scheme administrators of registered pension schemes. If the reminder is sent to the incorrect person payment has been made or HMRC’s records are incorrect the Revenue should be notified in writing: Pension Schemes Services FitzRoy House Castle Meadow Road Nottingham NG2 1BD.
